I loved going downstream and feeling the rushing water under me. The whole trip isn’t all water raptors and you can take your time. There are some spots to pull off to the side and have lunch. There many trails for you to hike and there is a lake for you to swim in as well. I hiked the monument trail and is medium strength hike because it does require going uphill but also has some flat areas during the trail. It is about 3.7 miles and it starts at the Monument parking and then follow the red/green trail and brings you to the top where the Monument is.
